Statement:
In today's world, cities serve as mirrors reflecting the complexities, contradictions, and existential paradoxes of humanity. In this collection of photographs, I seek to explore and reflect upon the deeper aspects of urban life and its manifestations.
A window, beyond a simple reflection, is a gateway to the depths of oneself. Through observing the world outside from within this window, we will glimpse into the dreams, aspirations, and desires hidden within our hearts. And then, the window transforms into a mirror, reflecting the deep desires and dreams, and the potential within. Each time we look out of this window, we embark on an inner journey, one that connects us to our existential truth and what we truly desire deep within our hearts. The window is a bridge between the outside world and the inner world. Contrary to what we might think, the window does not always represent hope and an escape route; sometimes, windows are a reminder of being captive and trapped.
This collection of photographs is an attempt to portray the idea that cities and urban life are not merely physical realities, but also shape the reflection of the human soul and psyche. They are an invitation to contemplate the boundaries between reality and imagination and to challenge our perceptions of urban life. I hope these images can take viewers on an inner journey, where they can rediscover the beauty and complexities of life behind every window and in every reflection.
